As one of your constituents and a supporter of Zero Hour, I’m writing to ask whether you will add your name to the Climate and Nature Bill EDM, number 1184, alongside other MPs from across Parliament.
On 24 January, the Bill reached its second reading, yet, it lasted only four hours. For a crisis that affects our health, our economy, and our shared future at this scale and importance, this is not long enough. We are facing the greatest long-term global threat of our time without a coherent framework in place to tackle it.
MPs should have the chance to debate this issue thoroughly, and constituents like me want to ensure the CAN Bill remains on the agenda.
