I’m writing as your constituent and a supporter of Zero Hour to ask you to sign Early Day Motion 1184, which backs more time for the Climate and Nature (CAN) Bill.
The Bill reached its second reading in January, but considering the scale of the issue and what it means for our health, economy, and future generations, four hours of debate is clearly not enough.
The Government made a promise to deliver the ‘spirit and substance’ of the CAN Bill, but progress has yet to materialise. By adding your name to EDM 1184, you would be supporting a renewed debate and showing clear leadership in responding to the climate and nature emergency.
There is cross-party support for this Bill, and I hope you will stand with those calling for more time in Parliament to discuss it.

Can you please let me know whether you plan to sign EDM 1184 and help keep this critical issue on the parliamentary agenda?
