I am writing to you about the Climate and Nature (CAN) Bill. The Bill has its Second Reading on Friday 24 January.

If you support this Bill, I would like to ask you to stay in Westminster and vote in favour.

Without your help, buoyed off the back of Trump's election, climate deniers could have a field day —spreading misinformation as they talk it out. This would be a disaster since this Bill is the most ambitious and science-led proposed legislation currently in Parliament. And whether you like all of the Bill or not, I believe that the climate and nature crises need to be given the parliamentary time it deserves.

Will you speak in the debate on behalf of your constituency about why this Bill matters? I believe you may need to ask the Speaker's Office for permission ahead of Friday for this.
