Please could you let me know if you will be representing our constituency at the Second Reading of the Climate and Nature Bill?

On Friday there will be a momentous debate on this Bill in the House of Commons. The CAN Bill, if made law, would ensure that the UK meets the internationally-agreed climate and nature commitments reached under previous Conservative Governments (i.e. the Paris Agreement 2015, and the Global Biodiversity Framework 2022).

These goals were agreed by Conservatives, but they are now at risk of being missed by the current Labour Government.

Please could you ensure you are in Westminster on Friday to vote for the Bill and also speak in favour of it in the debate (I understand you may need to request this from the Speaker in advance).
