I am writing to you about the Climate and Nature Bill. On Friday there is an important debate about this proposed legislation—the CAN Bill's Second Reading.
I realise that members of the Government may not be in a position to vote for a Private Member's Bill. Yet I hope you can still represent me and other constituents by helping the CAN Bill progress. I believe that it is essential that the climate and nature crises—the most pressing issue that humanity faces today—has the time in parliament that it deserves.
Perhaps you could also ask your colleagues to ensure this Bill receives a free vote?
